Cybersecurity Engineering Faculty Position

The Cybersecurity Engineering Program at the Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus (METU NCC) is seeking applicants for a permanent faculty position at all ranks. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree to be eligible. Both recent Ph.D. graduates and experienced academics are encouraged to apply.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage those with expertise in computer science or engineering, particularly with a focus on cybersecurity. Candidates with experience in areas such as Cryptography, Security for Computer Networks, Software and Database Security, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, and Malware Analysis would be especially well-suited for the cybersecurity courses.

The positions are full-time and will be available from the semester of Fall 2025-2026 (September 2025) or such other date that is mutually agreed.

METU NCC is committed to high-quality research and teaching traditions. The normal teaching load at METU NCC is 3 courses (equivalent to 9 hours) per semester.
