Economics Faculty Position

The Economics Program at the Northern Cyprus Campus (NCC) of the Middle East Technical University (METU) (http://www.ncc.metu.edu.tr/) is seeking applicants for full-time and open-rank faculty positions. The candidates must have teaching and research interests in one of the following main fields: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, or Econometrics. Applications will be accepted until May 29, 2026. Standard teaching load at METU NCC is 3 courses per semester (equivalent to 9 credit hours per week). The position is renewable annually on a rolling contract basis.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Economics and/or Econometrics. Teaching and research experience are important assets for these positions. Recent PhDs should have a promising research agenda, while the more experienced candidates should have a good record of international publications in accordance with METU NCC’s research orientation.
